Calling all 30 Outlaw Owners
#11
No way 80 mph with HO's mabey 75, but not 80. Probaply under 75 with HO's. I looked at one at Ugly John's on Grand Lake, in OK. It had HO's and the salesman was saying mid 70's. Drove it, drove a 29 Outlaw, bought a 29 Outlaw. Saved $80K, my 29 is faster with littler motors and less tax. Plus I did get what I wanted. Right colors, right condition, all the performance stuff done. Had a flat screen TV, you know the kind of stuff you can't get on a new one.
In my experience in buildingstuff, I have found it is ALWAYS cheaper to buy it already done than to do it yourself.

I have a 30 also.
Just put it on boattrader last night. Wife says its too big and doesn't like launching it. So we are going to downgrade over the winter.
The 30 is an awesome boat. Handles great, looks fantastic, and goes like a bat out of hell.
I was seeing 77.8 gps on a poker run with full fuel, heavy load and 4 adults last August. 79-80 is easily attainable with stock HO's.
