Baja 405 tested in PRA magazine
YUCK! What a ugly boat. I puked on the magazine before I even had a chance to finish the article. The windshield could not get any uglier. The swim platform looks like it was stolen off a Sea-Ray and bolted in place. The dash looks like my 2 year old designed the placement of gauges. Not a single angle matches. ( the seats are rounded and the windshield is square the holes in the ugly swim platform are round, etc.)
I can't believe this is the boat that had so much dealer and customer input to turn out so ugly. What gives? I know it was designed for a older croud but don't old people have taste and style after 55...golfers aside?

Re: Baja 405 tested in PRA magazine
Having had a chance to get on the boat in Cumberland, all I have is praises for it.
It is more of a cruiser with a little performance, but it will definately have its market.
Well thought out and pretty cool boat once you see all the nice features.
Thought the article was pretty good also.

It replaced the .38 Special and I don't think the 38 is the best looking boat either. I don't like to curve of the deck. I think the 405 is an improvement from the 38. It is not suppose to be a performance boat.
