Default Factory Shipping Covers

Anyone have any experience w/ these? I just got one for my 33 off of ebay for approx. $100. I have a full winter cover and was hoping to use this one instead of the cockpit cover b/c it covers the entire bow. TIA

I'll let you know when I get it. I thought that for the $, it was a no brainer.

I got it today but didn't even get a chance to open the box. I'll try to get to it this weekend and post back.

I've used the shipping cover on my 40 Outlaw all season. The boat is in dry stack inside so it is just used as a dust cover. It worked great. It is occasionally outside on the trailer with the shipping cover on it (like this week). The vinyl outer shell keeps to moisture out. I actually washed and "Armor All'ed" the vinyl at the beginning of the season. I think it kept the vinyl from getting dry. You'll like it. Good luck.

Hey Pondfather, it was a "shipping cover" , you may remove it now and use the boat ! Oh, and theres more to life than just going to Racine ! Milwaukee can be lovely this time of year. And if you came up and I just didn't happen to see you than disregard the last sentence.

32 Caliber - Jim,

We've been to a few exotic places this summer, but Milwaukee only once.

Yes, Racine got a little boring especially with all the dining options available within walking distance. When gas went up we just started going to Kenosha and it opened up a whole new world of dining options. Kenosha harbor is a very friendly place.

We'll be out on the lake today and tomorrow, so hope to run into you.

There's room in the harbor for you and your Baja at North Point.

I went out Saturday, but the 4' swells were a bit to much for my old 32 footer....the extra 8' that you have sure would of helped. Looks like todays wakes aren't going to be much less, oh, well, theres always Monday and Tuesday seeing I took vacation those days because I figured seeing the weather is going to be good I better enjoy it before it ends !
