25 OL hull design
What is the point of the little indention on the bottom of the side right above where the side meets the bottom about five foot from the back? You can just bearly see it in this picture.

The way it is designed I wouldn't think it would get more air under the hull. It is not a step, it is more of a notch out of the side of the hull. Most if not all of that is out of the water when up on plane.
