The engine compartment has about an extra foot in front of the engine. Its nice having the batterys mounted down there, so you gain ALL your storage space back under the rear bench. I can actually get in there and stand if I need to.
I would give up a foot of cockpit for a foot
more in the engine bay......I do all my own work.
