Default Cabin door fix on my 29

I have a 2000 29 OL SST, that the Cabin door is broken around the screws at the bottom track. Does anyone know of a self fix or is this gonna be something to take to Fiberglass repair shop?

Also I have a stripped out screw on the hull to the cockpit cover, What would be a good filler for that for a self fix?

I have used marine-tex white. It can be sanded, drilled and painted. A small dab in the hole and lit it set and your done.

LIQUID
Liquid,

The door is not fiberglass is it? All I have had were Plastic/Lexan. The reason it cracked is that the screws came loose and it vibrated real bad. What I did when this happened to me was drilled new holes in addition to the original ones and put "LOCTITE" on the threads of ALL the screws. Never had another problem.

As for the cockpit cover, do what he says above. The color should not matter, the sanp will cover it up!

Good Luck

Hell, Im stupid, your right its Lexan, perfect idea, thanks for the money saving info. I wouldn't have thought of drilling new holes, just to obvious
