The 36 is good for the ocean only herer and our lakes are too small. I cant even park my trailer at our local lakes. I have a 30 daytona in Lake Havasu and want another boat closer to home.

Rooster 22

The last time I was at AB I think it was there but didn't check it out too close. I will be going down in the next few weeks and will let you know what I think.

Alright gang: Great discussion, but did we ever answer Blew's original question? I think we have ascertained that the new 2004's out there are a darn risky purchase and not recommended when the dealers don't want to realize ANY depreciation. Correct?

On the '04 30 OL I think it depends on what you want. I personally just bought an '04 leftover with mags for $89,000.00 from a dealer in NY back in November '05 and can't wait till boating season. I like it because on Lake Champlain its just big enough to maneuver and not so big that it takes alot of people to direct me. I stepped up from a 22' that I'm waiting to sell.

Congrats on your purchase Lindsay. I'm familiar with the boat. A friend of mine inquired into that boat and they wouldn't budge below 120,000.00 so you got one hell of a deal. Did they include the trailer for that?

Please post some pics. Looking forward to meeting you this spring/summer.

Neil

Assuming you bought it at RC Congle? Great deal. Was that price with a trailer? Post some pics please.

Alburg? My boat sits in Clarenceville and I cross the Swanton bridge each time I reach the friends across the border... Where are you located in Alburg? I don't think We have met him Neil...

Thumbs up Re: Is the 30 worth the money???

Reds Outlaw,
That seems like a great deal. I have found about 5 04's but haven't gotten to that price. I would probably feel pretty good on an 04 in that ball park. I got down to 113,000 in Sept 05 on an 04 with mags but that was with trade (2002 25 Outlaw). I think I should go ahead and sell before I buy so that there is no trade issues. I appreciate the 89,000 info, that gives me a target.

Reds Outlaw,
Was that price with or without a trailer? Can you send me contact info on the dealership? Thank you.
