how do you check x-dim on 36 outlaw?

I Measured The Same Place You Did And It Is 7 3/4

Ill be doing more testing, carbs arent back from mesa balancing yet, and we were running waaaay to rich last time out, fouling out plugs, got it to 73 @ 5500 with 26's
