at what price will my boat sell?? need input

This isnt a classified. Im trying to figure out at what price my boat should sell for.
its a 1998 29' Baja Outlaw with twin 454 mpi's (310hp) and the SST package (gaffrig/silent choice/aluminum platform/k planes)
Its a super clean boat, and runs perfect with 350hrs.
What should i sell it for. Im tired of having 2 boat payments, and am ready to move it.
what price should it be at to move in the next month?

Low retail is 45-50K
Average retail is 55K
in great shape w/ trailer I would start @ 60K and if I really wanted to get rid of it low to mid 50's

Right now it is definitely a buyers market. I have been trying to sell my 38 and everyone wants to steal it. It has been very frustrating with the gas prices going up and down like a yo-yo. Now with insurance rates going up too it may be better to suck it up and take a bigger hit. I have stuck in there and now I finally have a deposit and looks like it will close this week. It is still not what the boat is worth but by holding out I reduced the loss.

I feel for you.. Selling stuff is not my "cup of tea" .. Defiantely couldn't be like Fred or some of the other guys who buy and sell alot.
You may consider listing with a broker. Someone who knows the business, knows people and can handle all the BS of selling boats. They might be able to get top dollar for you.
Good luck!

I would say the 310's are not going to help the price. Like many have said it is buyers market right now and there are good deals to be had. I would price it somewhere in the middle of what similar 98 OL's are selling for. It depends on how bad you want to get rid of it.

My bud sold his 2000 baja 29 w/310's with 220 hours and a nice trailer last summer for 55,500$. He tried selling it for 2 years for 65-70k but no one wanted the 310's. Put it on E-bay with a reserve of 57k$,didn't sell but ended up getting the 55,500 offer after auction was over. I'd say 45-50 k$ is all you'll get,Smitty

Do you think i would have a better chance selling it for $47,500 or a big boat dealer here in town selling it for 10% more?
