I have riden in a 30 and they are a very stable boat.

We have friends running 110 MPH in a 29 Fountain, 100 MPH in a 28 Velocity and 115 MPH in a 25 Eliminator.

I'll take the 30!

110 in a 29 fountain would suck, they are way to stern heavy with twins, and dont forget the 32 that we saved the people at travis 04 poker run it hooked and spun out and flipped and pretty much broke in half

Well I know someone has already asked but.....

What price range is the boat going for?

Will Baja deliver a boat hull only minus the engines?

Really looks like a sweet ride, they have really stepped up lately. Boat looks real good.

A few tweeks and you have a 95 mph boat.

Thanks for ANY info...........mp

The boat is great looking, I agree Baja has stepped it up.

is it true, a 30 Baja w/ 525's will run 92?
wow that sounds fast to me, maybe I should look at them again.

Correct me if I am wrong, but most 29 Fountain Fever's were built with a single engine. Early limited amounts were built with twin's. And yes, much better with a single then a twin. The 29 with a single (other then docking manners) is a great boat. Stable, well balanced and a very low CG. Late 2000 hulls and up with the larger step with a single is the one to target.

Speaking of stepping it up, what gives with the hull? How about some hull ventilation in that pup.

I don't know about 92, but Hawkeye had the first 30 with 525s and hit 88-89 on GPS.
