The older ones were built with twin big blocks. But more recent years you have a choice between a single big block (525 these days) or twin small blocks (6.2's or Scorpions if you can find them). They quit making the 32 this year. Just way too much weight back there. I have a single 525 29' and it is very well balanced and really not too bad docking and trailering although I have to keep remembering I have a left hand rotating prop. As far as Baja making stepped hulls, I don't think it's going to happen. I think they experimented a couple of years back with one but decided to stick to conventional V's for handling and safety reasons. I read in a mag that they are wind tunnel testing for aerodynamics to help find a few mph. I'm no expert on Bajas but I highly doubt a stepped hull is in the near future.

I like it. The blue carpet looks a little light compared to the rest

Great Info on the stepped hull boats. I hope to be purchasing a new boat this fall or winter and have been looking at the stepped hull boats but might look at a true “V” with bigger HP.

Anyone have info on the 26OL, is it replacing the 25?

I currently own this boat now. Im still searching for the best prop options. The best I have seen is 94mph on a nice cold day. I typically see 89-91 with the 30p P5x props. I have done some nice upgrades with it as well. All JL audio, Seablaze X lights, LED lighting, New Livorsi Steering wheel, and a couple other goodies.

bavboym3 - Still own your 30OL? Any thoughts on going up to a 35 anytime soon?
