Running your numbers thru the online calculator, your prop slip is less than 10%,which is great for running a labbed prop plus a 2" shortie and being its a merc prop, the prop guys say go down a pitch when doing any calculating because they are always 1 pitch less than advertised, that puts you at 5.8% slip. My merc labbed props typically slip 19-22% at wot on my boat and closer to 25-27% with this stupid azz ext box I put on it,you have a good set-up,Smitty

wheres the on line calculator I found it last week but can't seem to find it again. I talked to julie T. U . IT SOUNDS WRONG but I'LL BE BACK OUT ON SAT AND CHECK WITH MY OLD HAND HELD GPS AGAINEST THE DASH ONE unless the prop is labbed to a 27 and sitting down the rpms might have been 5800 out in the bay when I RAN BACK TO THE BOAT RAMP STANDING IT WAS READING 5600 79 TO 80 81 AND THAT WAS2 OR 3 MILES DOWN THE RIVER.on the bay it was in chop 5miles bridge to bridge way and that was sitting so it harder to read the tach I was bouncing so much going out I hit the key and the boat died That was fun so were is the cal, and I will see what happens on sat.

heres a link-http://www.rbbi.com/folders/prop/propcalc.htm
I have never seen a Baja with less than 15% slip with a labbed prop before, like I said even when I ran 26 pitch props my slip was around 20% at top speed,Smitty

There should be a 400 rpm difference between your boat and his (2 pitches). A 26 merc is supposed to be equal to a true 25 pitch of any other brand so when you use the prop calc you would punch in a 25. A labbed normally takes you down even further, maybe you have more pitch or cup in your prop though, not sure. There was a 24 o/l around here with blown 502 that ran 81-82 mph turning a labbed 28 pitch 5400 but we are 600 ft above sea level. Even wild cards boat has some exceptional slip numbers all though they are 10-12 % when I punch his numbers. My boat at 89.7 slips around 16.7% with 30 labbed (entering it as a29 for true pitch),92.8 slips at 18.2 with 32 pitch but calculating it as a 31 pitch. my slip went up 3-5% with the extension box in the plus 1" position at wot,my midrange slip went up to almost 28-30% after adding the box. Maybe somehow raising your drive lowered the slip but it normally increases it,Smitty

When I had the stock bravo drive on a 25p mirage I was getting 74 gps at 5400 went to a b1 26 was turning 5100 maybe 5200 at 74 to 75. well my slip # are approx 12 to 13% at 81 going out looking for some chop on Wednesday but looks like a 28p b1 custom labbed by bblades should run 5600 at 85 . I hope to hit the chop on my nexted run and get some pics from the boat. I did get a pic off at about 5600 to 5800 gps was at 80.3 but I had to grab the wheel back before the rolled I have a victim going out with me nexted
