a glass guy is coming over next week to look at my ideas ofmaking airtime bullit proof, cause there is going to be a 700hp motor and maybe a 1000hp motor going in it in july or aug it looks. I am looking at 2 sutphens and need to decide if AT will be up for sale with a 700hp plus motor or stock 454. or stay with it. sut one is a friends 31 89 that needs motors the other is a 85 33 with 540s that need work plus paint. I most likely will stick with mine since I will have a ton of money in it since 02. but if the 31 is 20,000 or under with no power I will get it.lenght its all about lenght. well mine will have a new bulkhead full height where the back seat was and a new one where the cabin is a ring one before the bed these 24s were to loose that pull out back seat was a big mistake no strenght., my boat will belightened up to no wood top chit thats why I will most likely keep it have the guy custom paint it and buy the 1000hp 572 1071 motor I was thinking a flag paint job. well what do you guys think, gas is high and it might stay there so twin 650hps will be a lot more than one 750hp or 1000hp I think. ps never got my back pay thats owed to me so its sitting.

Well the boat is still apart and its good I didn't have the new bulkhead made I got a 572 1050hp motor going in and we need to make more room in the engine area bilge longer. my goal is to do 100 or die in this thingtrying.ours have come close at 98 with more horses but I HAVE THE 2'' SHORTIE AND THINK THATS GOOD FOR 4 TO 6 MPH and once I GET THERE I will put on a smaller drive friendly prop like a b1 30 which should get it in the 90s with a red line of 6400. I hope to paint it with a friend also keeping the red, then silver, yellow maybe black to. oh just got the knee replaced and its been hell but hope to bewalking by xmass going to keep the 509 for back up its about 670hp right now as is, my buddy said you should sellit and buy a stock motor for back up, yeh right the heads and carb are worth what he wants to buy mine for 5000. it got about 25 to 30 hours on it.he likes to low ball yeah I said 10,000 and I will have to think about it.joking of coarse I got a lot of money in that motor to so why sell it for a lose and buy some stock junk merc which was how that started out. then everything was changed from the 502 I ran it for 2 or 3 years stock then made 3 upgrades over 4 years well found some more pics just got to get them on here. artie

up date going to konrad ace so I can run a 5 blade and should handle the 1050hp DEAN GELLNER 572 BLOWER MOTOR, well decide to rip the floors up with redoing the bulkheads stringers look good but will check better after old motor is out. going to move the gas tank 6'' it looks so need to redo custom motor hatch again and might make it into a 4 seater or 3 seater or 2 seater and then would have more engine room. I hate bending over a back seat to work on the motor you never know who is behind you. so with the light weight floors and bulkheads the boat should be about 3600lbs or lighter.
