Viplex was purchased by a another company that Baja will not allow to sell to the public. The windshield could be purchased for under $800 complete for all three pieces from Viplex. Now you have to buy from Baja for $2,500. Nice way to treat customers.

Got curious and started searching for my boat... Don't know if you still have it, but this could help a lot of 270 ES/250 Sport owners out there. Needed my w/s replaced 3 years ago and tracked it down to Spartech Marine out of Florida. Call 866-340-2472 and ask for Customer Service. Don't want to give the guy's name but they HAVE the molds if they're still in usable shape. My replacement came a bit thicker than stock, but fit like a glove. Took some time to get the final product (mold had to be repaired) and cost around $1900 shipped, but I have a brand new w/s on an otherwise cherry boat.

Irish is correct, but the 250 Sport/270 windscreen mold was destroyed by a Hurricane a couple years ago, before Spartech Marine went out of business. There is a mold that was developed for a fiberglass windscreen recently. Check-out this post!
