Bigracks,
That hull is pretty close to my 29 (2001). I think your going to hate the way it handles...or dosen't as the case may be. Just like above in the thread, the way the boat will handle will make you look like you have no clue how to operate a boat. I wouldn't recomend it. But, you will never know till you try...right. Good luck.

I tried them "in" on my 29 O/L,
wasn't any faster, and handled odd,
not to mention the poor docking maneuvarability.

I'd bet you'll have the same results.

I did it on my 320 for one trip only. It was horrible, got real loose if I tried trim it up. The 320 is a different hull though, I think it has a bigger pad than an outlaw.

Re: Turn them in or out?

I have them spinning in on my 29 Outlaw & I think it responds better to trim & drives better at speed. I picked up 2 mph on the top end. Docking it is not that much fun & it is harder to back into the slip. I am used to it now & am not sure if I will change back to spinning out.
I do like the way the boat feels. It feels like it is not so stuck to the water. It also comes on plane faster.
The best thing to do is try it. The most difficult part of the change is moving the shifter cables. Rember "checkballs" they are responsible for the little clicks you hear in the throttles & shifters. If you don't have them in place it is hard to maintain a throttle setting while sipping your beverage.

Re: Turn them in or out?

I am running labbed 3-blades on a 29 Outlaw. I tried spinning them in and I saw no gain in speed but a big loss in handling! As everyone else stated, it really sucked around the dock!!! I did notice an improvement changing it to toe-in instead of toe-out though. It runs better but, it can get squirrely when fully trimmed!!
