18,000 Miles & Counting
I know that all of us track the hours on our hull and motors, but I have been keeping up with miles driven also since we bought our 36 Outlaw.
This last weekend while at the coast on a four day boating trip we ran 246 total miles on the water and that put me over the 18,000 mile mark. May not sound like a lot, but that is the equivalent of cross country 6 times! She still looks great, performs great and we are going to keep on keeping on! |

Hit & miss November and December. Forget January & February. I don't have to winterize, have good protection for the 15 to 20 days a year it gets in the teens. So we are ready to head South at a moments notice when work allows. Five hours and I can boat with a light jacket. I like to start the engines every couple of weeks in the winter. Right now it is 59 degrees at 9PM, and is suppose to be in the upper 40's tonight. Hig's in the low 70's by Sunday. |

18000 miles? Wow, I have never kept a car for that long.
I think I might only have about 3500 miles on mine and it is only a year newer. |
Re: 18,000 Miles & Counting
