Thanks Again! All politics aside, I enjoy this site,TBM,and several others. I guess I have been fortunate in my time spent on all of them, that I have not had problems with any of them. However, I have seen enough things on them to know that there is no way in hell I would ever want to run one. I have a lot of respect for his and most all of the other webmaster's position! I have noticed a recent decline in (all) of Blake's posts (probably trying to stay neutral) so a lack of comment comes as no surprise or problem to me. I will say this for much him though, he has on two occasions (when people were inquiring about me) gone out of his way to make sure we hooked up!! That was way more impressive and appreciated than a congratulation!!! So I guess I can let him slide (this time)!!!

I'm guessing Blake has been busy with other things because I know a while back he mentioned none of the TBM merchandise would be available from 10/15/06 until January or something like that.

I still frequent TBM daily, mainly the Texas section. As with any forum some of the discussions can get out of hand due to a few bad apples but most of the folks are good people who I enjoy keeping up with. Just don't bring up the word "cork"! That there is a fightin word!

I'm sure Dock and Jay got it. Some things got out of hand on TBM with a customer and Trick because there was no cork in the cup holders he ordered. It was not a big deal but got turned into one. It didn't have anything to do with TBM, just a couple of people that posted. The word "cork" is probably equal to the word "Apache" on here.

I seem to remember a little about that. I don't recall all the facts, but I do remember someone making a big deal over something really trivial like that! It is a shame to see things snowball and get out of control like that over nothing!!!

I'll take my lumps over the cork thing--someone ordered cup holders from Fred and when they recieved them they didn't have any cork and the customer went balistic about it.IMO, so I made some sort of smart remark about ordering my drive shower and hoped that Fred didn't forget the cork. After my comment the sh*t hit the fan. I tried to say I was just kidding but it only got worse so I just let them rant and rave till it died down. At first Blake thought it was funny but when he saw that some people were really pi**ed he changed his mind and scolded me about making negative comments(When I got my cup holders I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a sheet of cork and made my own inserts). Now I spend more time over here making bad jokes or at least till someone scolds me again

So Jay your the one that started it all......Funny about the same time this was happining I called Fred about something and told him to don't forget the cork....we laughed about how stupid that thread got....but now Fred charges $1 for the cork.

I also spend more time here than TBM...allthou I still check-in everyday

I check there daily too but I sure don't participate as much.
