Dave,
What did the Magnum look like? I have never heard of that model.
Which boat was available in the late 90's that had the center console that looked a little automotive? It was a small boat maybe 19 foot. I remember seeing one at the marina where we kept our 212 Islander and thought it was a pretty cool looking boat.
Thanks
Mark

Thanks I did not know that.
I believe that is correct. Every time I see Sidewinder post on here I think of that boat.

Dock,
I agree with JaayTeee, its probably the Sidewinder your thinking of. Here is a quick pick I stole from a classified somewhere.
As far as the Magnum and Renegade go, chances are you've seen a few of these out and about. I'll get some pics when I have more time.

Back in the old days we started getting phone calls from companies about Baja using names that were registered like:
"Force" - US Marine Outboards
"Magnum" - Magnum Powerboats
"Sidewinder" - Sidewinder Boats
"Renegade" - Jeep never even noticed, there where so few!
The "GUN" names were fine like: 38 Special, 32 Caliber, 22 Caliber, & Shooter.......The names Hammer, & H2x were also fine to use.
PS. Berry C. (Sidewinder Boats on OSO) the guy you met at Checkmate Marine - actually bought the "Sidewinder" boat company name, but is not producing any number of boats at this time. He can better explain his company sometime.

That is very interesting. I got to meet Berry the last trip up but I had no idea it was more than just a screen name.

You are right!!! That really is a lot of boat for the money. Looks like it has been pretty well taken care of from what we can see. Too bad it looks like a salt water boat.
