I havent heard confirmation on what brand of boat it is, but I have heard rumors that it was indeed a Baja. Can anyone confirm or deny the rumors and shed some light on what kind of boat it was?

Boss,
I got hooked on the 405. Like Doc, I didn't like it at first but it grows on you after a few looks...............let me know if you want some insight while shopping. I like spending other people's money.............................

Doc, I ordered my new polished actuator for the hatch. I also did a little research before I boat my first boat last month. Which is a 99' 36 OL W/500HP's. Great boat with loads of options. I took rides in fountains, Eliminators, Donzi's, some boats I never heard the names of and I wouldn't trade my Baja for any of them. And I don't think there are so many of the other boats for sale because those guys are upgrading. I would say the jumped on the hype and found out they were not true to the sport/hobby and more importantly couldn't afford the boat or the expense's that come with it. Just my two cents.

Time to add my .02. I had a nice scare at the end of the boating season here in Pittsburgh this year. Got a 1988 240 Sport and I like to air it out from cruiser wake. Hey, gotta work with what you got. So. This big 50 footer is throwing some wake. Didnt realize how big till too late and I was a little overtrimmed for it. Next thing I know is the boat is completely airbourne. The bow was at about 80% up angle. All I saw in front of me was the front deck. And I was pretty high. Came down and kept bouncing up from following wake till I could get it trimmed down and get the speed down. One hell of a ride. Only damage to the boat was the pins on the starboard trim tab. They break to prevent damage to the tab or transom. No stress cracks in the hull. No de-lamination. No broken stringers. I can only imagine the damage in a boat with a lighter layup.
