I heard that a bank bought one that they said I could use---if I made the payments on time :D Barb and I traded our 04 275 Boss in for a 06 30 Outlaw SST. We haven't had much helm time yet but so far so good--enjoyed everything but the first trip to the gas station. After we filled it up they closed for the day saying they met their quota for the day.(EXXON only made 10 BILLION last quarter). Glad I could do my part. Pics will follow when I learn how to post them.

AWESOME

Congratulations Barb!

That should keep the old man out of your hair for awhile!

We look forward to seeing it.

The worst fill up I have had at one time was $598.00 at the coast. The most fuel burned in a weekend was 470 gallons at the three day Jacksonville Poker Run.

It's only money Jay!

Jay - I think you'll find that the mags will do just fine. I've been plenty fast on Ed's boat with mags in it. With all the extra weight I have on my boat from the generator, extra batteries, extra subs, a/c, etc, you'll probably be right up there with me. The mags should get you into the low 70's unless you're in the Texas heat of August which slows us all down.

I haven't run it up yet--still only has a couple of hours on it. Maybe next time out (if Barb ain't look'n) I'll run it up for a minute or two and I'll let you know.

Go ahead Busta, tell us how you really feel!

117MPH behind Duramaxeypad "Maybe"? I thought they limited them to 98 MPH to keep from blowing up.

Behind Dodge - Probably (Down Hill)

Behind the Almighty 7.3 PSD = All Day Long until we put some boost to that turbo and hit 130!

Hey, on a serious note I did a lot of upgrades including exhaust, intake, boost regulator, DP Tuner, Gauges, etc, etc and she is SO much better then stock it ain't even funny.

Better watch out if you see me in your rear view mirror. :D

Re: Is there anyone on this site...

I didn't have to do all the upgrades to the Cummins----it ran just fine when I got it--so I did the upgrades anyway. Damn those Chevy's and Fords look good behind me :evilb: I am however a little worried about this new diesel fuel--for the first time Dodge is recommending that you put additive in your fuel because I guess with less sulphur you get less lubricity and that might be a problem for the lift pump and the injector pump. No one seems to know for sure yet so they are recommending an additive until they get a little more experience with the new fuel--at least thats what I have been told.

THANKS to everyone about the nice comments about our new boat--I'm sure we'll enjoy it. Still working on the pictures.

Re: Is there anyone on this site...

Still haven't picked up the boat for possession yet--I was checking the trailer and found it had drum brakes instead of disc and had leaf springs instead of torsion axles. They are checking on upgrading the trailer. Also having a 12v plug installed in the cabin so we can recharge cell phones and GPS etc. Also putting the tuner in the radio so we can have Sirsis. Also installing prop locks and am going to order a couple of drive showers---damn does it ever end :( I'm beginning to think that when Tommie gives Dock permission to sell the 36 I should have waited and bought it. :D

I really do not understand why dealers cut corners on trailers. You spend six figures on a boat and it spends most of it's time on a trailer. But they want to put as low of priced trailer under it as possible.

I know we are the exception in the number of miles we trailer, but there is a lot more to consider then price.

Support of the Hull, Safety, Durability, ease of launching and loading and Trouble Free just to mention a few.

I am sold on torsion axles and disc brakes. Glad you are upgrading.

:D No 98mph limiter here. My Predator programmer removed that and then my Edge/Attitude harness box adds all the power I need. I know what you mean though, I've done basically all the mods you have (no boost regulator) and the truck is totally different than a stocker.

I won't have to watch for you in my rear mirror because all I'll be able to see is a cloud of black smoke as I pull away! :D

Just messing with you dock,

I love that body style. I also know about not being able to pass a gas station with one. My last one was a 83 2500. We swapped in 1-ton axles, 38s and a 454 with about 500hp. I got a whopping 8 miles per gallon around town and a blistering 11 on the highway.

I sold it to a college kid here in town and still see it from time to time.
