A buddy of mine wants me to go look at this with him in or around Columbus Ohio. Do any of you guys recognize it or know anything about? Guy says hes owned since new any opinions on the 226 sports??

I had a 226 almost identical to that.It only has a 20 degree deadrise,weighs around 3800 lbs,rides a little rough for big water,kind of a pain getting in and out of cabin,doesn't have fiberglass inner liner,sit down boat.It was a good inland lake boat mine ran 62.5 on radar with 454 330hp what does the guy want for it?

Boy alot of the looks very similiar to my 92' 270. The back, the windshield, etc. all look identical. What year is it and how much are they asking? What power? Just curious.

thanks for the responses guys, it is going to be used mainly on inland lakes, the cabin looks like a bicth to get in but says its a one owner boat and I talked to a shop that did work on it and says the guy takes care of it??


I like the one owner part and the fact its clean

I don't like the fact that it has a wood cockpit liner

the guy is asking 16k but I think its down to 13k, NADA is about 10k plus the trailer

what do you guys think????

I see he's got a nitrous bottle shoved in the corner,how many hours are on it,find out how big that nitrous kit is, 13k doesn't sound bad,the boat looks to be clean.

The 270 used to be the sport 250 and the sport 226 went to the sport 240.

KIT IS 125hp

ILL CHECK ON THE HOURS, at least he is not trying to hide the fact it has a bottle if i was selling it that bottle would be out of there

You can tell how nice it is by the trailer. It looks good. If the trailer sux you can bet the boat is not far behind.
