Default Got a few new pics

A friend took a few pics last weekend. First chance I've had to really get out and burn some gas. Crossing Lake Maurepas I was wishing for rougher water.

That boat looks great!

I'm always looking for rougher water. Every one tells me Lake Mead gets really rough when the wind kicks up but so far the worst it's been is like a calm day on the ocean.

When it has gotten windy the 29 just cruises over the chop while all the lake boats are getting tossed around like the SS Minnow!

Looking good on the water!!!!.... You'll have some rough water days and then you'll be saying ...Man I wish it was smooth...I've been there. 6' seas.

Thanks guys. To say I'm happy with the boat would be a huge understatement. Its been a long time coming but cruising across the lake at 50 mph with friends in the boat and running next to more friends made it all worth it.

I got my rough water wish later that day. Had to come back across the lake in a thunderstorm that had kicked up some pretty big rollers. If it hadn't been raining and almost dark I could have had some fun airing it out.

Docked at Blind River Bar, our first stop of the day.
The Prop Stop, home of the worm bucket.

Tied up at Tin Lizzies trying to wait out the bad weather. Ended up having to make a run for it just as it was getting dark, ran most of the 30 miles back to the camp in the rain. Other than that it was a great day.

Come to LOTO on a Holiday or a special event weekend if you want rough water.
About 40 is all the faster I have ever run in the channel.
