I do beleive this post will make someones day. I don't know what I would do without the Generator though. That has to be my single favorite amenity on our boat. Nothin like being able to keep the AC going while hanging out at the beach

I would like to have a generator but have seen that most of these for sale don't. If the boat is clean and is at the right price and doesn't have a gen I wouldn't hestitate. I have seen many folks using the honda EU2000i on their boats with no problems...

Do you have the "Honda Hard Start Kit" which is basically a giant resistor that lessens the impact when the AC compressor kicks in? Several of the Richmond guys have this and it works great. I think one guy even runs a 10K BTU with an EU2000i. Check with 'excursion' or 't500hps' from the board.

I did some digging and I can't find it, but I know it exists. I think it is a capacitor/resistor combination. Make sure you have a good and thick shorepower pigtail to plug right into the Generator as well.

Dave I've found a few looking around for my next boat when our 33 sells.

http://www.dallasboats4sale.com/index.asp?boat_type=3 has one that is close to what you are looking for - 180 hours.
