These are still sealed and have never been installed on a boat.

Don't blast them it will take for ever to get them back to a polished state. Get them chemically stripped they will be a lot better for polishing. That what I did with the swim platforms this year. Fresh new coat of candy purple. Dock's favorite color, I know he's going to like that color on his boat also.

Thanks for the tip Jeff. Do you think it would be a good idea once I get them polished to have them clear anodized?

Dear Mr. Steel Outlawed,

Having known you now for many years I have found you to be very close to a perfectionist and I have never known you to have a screw up.

However when you deliver my swim platform up next week and it has the slightest spot of PURPLE on it I will call you the world's "BIGGEST SCREWUP".

Thank you and have a very nice day.

Your friend

You would definitely need top clear coat it either with powder or paint. If not it would be a nightmare to keep clean.

I guess I had better get it back to the powder coater then. Only problem is they are backed up now it might be August before I get it back. In the mean time you can use mine.

I just received the concept pictures of Dock's new swim platform.

I think the purple is a nice touch Mark although it is probably not the direction I would have done.
