They are/were popular in the wake/ski type boats. It could be a Brunswick or Mercury product. Member “BUP” advised a friend of mine that they were sometimes troublesome back in the day.

I’m not sure how they would hold up to the abuse of an offshore boat. You may be better off with hidden key switches and button/toggle ignition and start switches.

Definitely agree with Sydwayz, for some inspiration look at how a Donzi ZR has the ignition set-up if your searching for something different. Keys go under the rear seat then toggles/buttons on dash to start.
