The only good I can see out of this is a faster Baja brand owned by a guy who can make a fast boat & supports the sport 100%.
Does this mean the other brand owners will have to give some respect now? You know that ain't gonna happen! It will still be a "production boat" and all that crap.

I am not so sure about a buy out, what I do know is stay tuned for BAJA to continue to raise the bar, more custom boats, more performance, and more boat for the $$ than anyone else. Poker Face, Lucky 7's, and Split Decision are just the beginning.

Ok, was stated before that they are already tied to Brunswick. They still have an agreement with mercury to buy their engines.

Also as of the end of the year Fountian had to get a waiver from thier bank because they were out of compliance on EBITDA and a 3 month extension. I doubt they would be ready to write a check to Brunswick when they are in default to their bank.

As I said before, more likely a merger between Baja and Fountain with Brunswick in control.

If this is indeed true, he'd be smart to
leave things as they currently appear
"above" the chine.....but, I doubt his ego would
let that happen.
