OK I got the measurement for the hatch actuator. It is 24" for the ram. Now I need to know where to get one. Called the old BAJA Dealer in Richmond VA and they were clueless and said they would have to get one from a random supplier. I called http://www.hardin-marine.com/detail~ID~156.aspx and they weren't much help. Not only were they trying to sell me the actuator but brackets and a release pin. When I asked the guy how you get the hatch up if the actuator fails he said by pulling the pin. Problem is on my BAJA there is no way into the engine compartment if the actuator fails. The old actuator has a sleave that goes over it that attaches to the hatch so you can still raise it by hand if it fails.

SO all you BAJA guys can you point me in the right direction here?
