I have a 24p Bravo 1 on my 26 with an HO. I love it, it has great power out of the hole and mid range is much better than the 3 blade. Top speed is 64 ish, with a full load.

Let me know when you figure it out and I'll just copy what you do.

Hard to get better than a b1 on that hull......best of both worlds.

Has anyone tried a Rev-4? Better or worse than the Bravo?

Thats what I was thinking....did you run it right out of the box or has it had some lab work done?

What RPM's are you seeing with it at WOT?

This prop is stock. I can get 4900-5000 at WOT trimmed out. I also have a rev 4 23p that I might try this weekend. I have had great luck with the Rev on 275's. Never tried it on a 26. I will report back!

Curious if you had a chance to try that Rev4 this weekend?

A 23 Rev. was the standard prop on a 277 Islander for 07' & 08' from Baja on 496 HO's. The 277 Isl. is the same hull design as the 26ol but with a molded swim platform and a little different CG. I would definately try this prop on your boat and see if you like the results. The Revolution performance is likely in-between the Mirage Plus, and Bravo I designs. It is a smaller dia. than the Bravo I, but with more rake in the design. It likes to run a little deeper "X" dim. like the Mirage Plus, but the four blades help in the lower, and mid-range performance. Note: that you cannot get a Rev. Labbed from Mercury Marine though. I have also found that the larger dia. and flatter rake of the Bravo I running a little deeper on a single engine boat acts like a paracute when you chop the throttles, and the boat looses speed much quicker. The Bravo I top speed is hard to beat, but I have seen both the Mirage, and Bravo do it on certain boats. You just need to test them on your boat, and see what you like the best.
