I’ll say I think they make a very nice product, but I’ve never been a fan of the comfort of the Mcleod bolsters. The seat just hits me wrong, maybe it’s my body shape, I like the looks of them, the way the electric seat functions and think it’s a quality product. The aero seats are just way more comfortable to sit or drop the bottom out of and stand in for my shape. The seats I have been in feel like someone is punching me in the back, the middle of the seat just hits me wrong. I’m a used buyer for the most part, if I see a boat with them I move on. I was looking at used 342's for a bit and most (if not all) of the Boss 342's had them. I hope the new designs are more comfortable for me.

I feel exactly the opposite from you regarding McLeod. I LOVE the look and they fit like a glove. I guess that is why there are so many different companies and styles out there.

I'm the opposite. Always liked McLeod better than Aero. Nothing wrong with Aero though for a stock seat. What you describe above is how I felt about Fountain's bolster until their redesign.
