Default Well I Played....

HOOKIE from work today and the wife and I logged 250 miles on the Harley in the beautiful North Carolina mountains.

It was 86 degrees and not a cloud in the sky and I could not stand it.

What a beautiful day to ride and after we got up on the Blue Ridge Parkway we soon found that a lot of bikers had the same idea today.

Live to Ride / Ride to Live

I'm jealous! I used to live in the Concord/Charlotte area and miss the western part of the state. Now I'm on the eastern side, home of the flat, straight roads.

I'm due for a trip to the mountains soon. I really want to get to "The Gap".

I planning a trip out to the outer banks this springs with some friends and customers that ride. North Carolina has a lot to offer east to west, north to south.

My Boss is one hell of a super nice guy!

Yes I love my job and I pat myself on the back daily for the GREAT team of 16 folks I have assembled and trained that now make it easy for me to get away.

Some say I pay too much and I give too much to my employees. I say you get what you pay for and when I can take time off to play after 34 long years in this crazy competitive business then it simply becomes money well spent.

Deal's Gap!! The one and only US 129!

NC coastal riding is nice also, but I'm in Greenville and there is nothing but flat, open farmland out here. Give me the mountains or water!

LOL, I was in a panic today when I woke up from my afternoon nap. I thought I was in NC & was going to miss out on our date.

I thought you may have been refering to the "Dragon"!

We have not done that yet and of course when you're riding a Harley touring bike it is not the best road. I have three guys working for me with C-Rockets and they love it. Actually there is a road just over the Tennessee line on the north side that they say is even better.
