Dock Holiday Jr

This looks like a good deal on a 25 Outlaw. NO RESERVE.

Dave, maybe we should go halves on this. I'll take it on the weekends, you can have it all week!

To be a "JR" it needs a bigger engine, LED's, new interior, new trailer.......

So what kind of power would Junior have in it? Id say bone stock 700 for reliability.

.....and 8 ft long k-planes for it to ride on:evilb:

Dock Holiday 01-15-2009 11:54 AM

Well it is in my home state of Arkansas. May be I could leave it there on Hamilton to use when I visit the family. My son is back out there so I know he would keep the battery charged!

It takes a LOT to qualify as DH jr.

First that PLUM color has to go. Yes it needs some more HP to at least keep SoCal withing sight.

As for the 8 foot K planes I'll pass. The best time we every had was the summer on LKN that a buddy had an identical 272to ours and we would race back to Skippers dry storage from the south end of the lake on Sunday afternoon.

FLY baby FLY

TEAMBAJA 01-19-2009 10:50 AM

Wow, someone needs to bid on this thing!

I would but I cant afford to pay attention!:drink:

Dock Holiday 01-19-2009 11:05 AM

Unbelievable with only $23K bid and just one day remaining on the auction and no reserve.

This is definitely a sign of the times and a testament of the economy.

Any wagers on what the final number will be?

Someone’s going to get a good buy it looks like.

TEAMBAJA 01-19-2009 11:20 AM

I will be stunned if it doesnt go over $30k.

I assume there are people waiting to snipe this, or the owner will yank the auction. I'll go with a steal at $31,500.

Ironmanwb 01-19-2009 11:59 AM

I am stunned it is up this high. I called a guy about the 29 ol he had listed on boat trader for 27K he sold it to the first guy that showed up for 25k.

It was a 99 SST w/ 502's trailer and if I remeber correctly it only had 225-250 hrs on it.

Dock Holiday 01-19-2009 12:37 PM

$25K is a STEAL

$27K is a great deal

I say it goes for under $29K

How can they yank the auction?

TEAMBAJA 01-19-2009 12:46 PM

They could just go in and end their auction early. Thats what I look for them to do if it doesnt get any more hits.

This of it this way, its currently cheaper than having a 1075 refreshed!

TEAMBAJA 01-19-2009 12:48 PM

Current price - $24,000 at 1:48 pm.

We'll see how this pans out over the next 23 hrs till the auction ends.

pwam1 01-19-2009 04:09 PM

The "no title" part stops me!

TEAMBAJA 01-19-2009 05:56 PM

The price is back down to $23,630.00 with 18+ hrs to go.

Im changing my mind after looking at the pictures a little closer and saying around $27,500.

i agree....it aint no deal if there is no title....and even if you got it for $29,000...its still a baja....

Baja_man 01-19-2009 06:42 PM

How hard would it be to get a title for it and why wouldn't it have a title?

What is this BS suppose to mean "its still a Baja" isn't a Maxum a "Burgundy Bayliner"

Baja_man 01-20-2009 08:03 AM

I see it ended and it says no bids and it also has a buy it now price of $29,500. I think if you could get hold of the seller he may move from that price.

Can anyone shed some light on the no title issue and whats involved in getting new one or why it dosent have one?

That means the seller ended the auction early like I predicted in post #14. He should have put a reserve on it then he wouldnt have had to do that.

Copied from the ad.

This boat will be sold by bill of sale only. We do not have the title on the boat, motor, or trailer. This boat was bought at a bank repossession auction. We do have a release of lein from the bank. Buyer is responsible for making arrangements with their local revenue office for titling purposes.

Baja_man why do you not receive PM's or emails?

Baja Before Fountain:

Largest dealer network
Largest number of performance boats produced period
Great dealers in and around Cumberland area and other areas
Many happy owners in and around Cumberland and other areas

So you find it necessary to tell me a Happy and Satisified Baja owner and so many others like me that my boat is nothing because ther are so many of them.

Do you feel the same way about Harley Davidson's? I own one of them also. How about a Jeep I own one of them with several million other people as well. You need to think about what you are saying maybe before you post it because you just insulted every Baja owner.

Yeah, been there a couple times in the summer, and many times in the winter testing Bajas when the water is hard up here. Looks like a sheet of glass in the winter down there its so calm (and sometimes 1,000,000 logs floating!)

Is party cove still going on with the water level so low? I figured 76 Falls would just be a trickle right now. I may take you up on that offer one day, but if no one drinks on your boat, Im not coming!:drink:

76 Falls is dried up...The new partycove is down by Harmon's Creek...Its ok, but IMO was sorta a small party...I'm sorta spoiled up here in the Great Lakes though...The parties up here get outta control...I was there on Poker Run weekend and I'll have to say there was alot of boats, but not alot of place to put them...Heading back again next year, so come on down!

Yeah, Id like to experience more Lake St Clair. I never understood the fuss about Lake Cumberland for poker runs. I think it would be different if there were some cool places on the Lake like LOTO.
