The question is "why"?
Closed cooling & aluminum heads are the only benefits I can see & that isn't that big of a determining factor in my book.
I'd rather have the 500's. They have the MEFI3 or 4 computer which is an easier one to re-program.
Then again, I like to change stuff so that may not be Irish's bag.

If you help me get them sold I'll let you in on my project.

Well extension boxes are on and transom assemblies back on got a few things left to hook up with the steering and drives, but otherwise a completed project.

You are keeping the 500's Dave or are they being replaced with something else???

The 500's are in....I guess his "other" deal fell thru. His 500's look nice though!
