Hey, those Livorsi gauges still belong to Baja Marine since the owner did a "stop payment" on the check! Truth be known, it is a nice boat, with a nice custom interior by McLeod.

For every thing else, there's Mastercard. (unless that Mastercard is already maxed out) :violent-smiley-045:

No, and after EVERYTHING that I did to build him a good boat, I could not believe he would do that to me. I thought that I would be in hot water, and the controller wanted to send the corporate lawyers after him, but Dave said to let it go. Oh well, it is a good boat for someone....

sonic69 02-21-2009 03:48 PM

Hey XT, Think this boat would get Brook's underwear in a bunch. I just told you today the next one would be a 30.

fleg1 02-21-2009 03:56 PM

Remember guy's this boat doesn't have a trailer.. It was repo'd also!!!!:party-smiley-004:

Buy it, because it's a buyers market right now. The only thing 05' on this boat are the engines.

I am sorry to hear that Dave.
And to think I was right there most of the time when he talked to Dave about the whole ordeal with mcleod. He acted like him and Dave were "buddies".
I will agree with you...that will be a nice boat for somebody. It'll need some regular maintaince work, but, that would be about it. (maybe some cleaning)

Are the drives new? I know the old ones had to have taken a beating as much as the old hull got airborn.

05 drives and gimbal housing. Only thing 08 in that boat is hull,gauges,controls,interior..Guessing it's got around 350hrs on it..Whoever is looking at I would definately suggest having a Merc Tech plug into the computers as well as have compression check done on it.

They did not appear to be well taken care of, and would need to be gone through by a good mechanic. But drive issues can happen on any used boat out there. I would keep the 30ol you have now.

Agreed 100%. Don't worry, I'm keeping mine, I maintain the chit out of it. As far as driving it, I baby my boat compared to the way that one was driven and I've still blown a drive. Chit just happens sometimes but as Dock used to say..."Luck favors the well prepared!"

JaayTeee 02-23-2009 12:18 PM

This one's up there too.... keeping D's boat company

Is that at the old Shooters in Sandusky?

WOTW2E 02-24-2009 07:50 AM

XT, how much did the stagger slow down the boat compared to the side by side version? Do you remember?

Pull the trigger. I'll bet she'll get over it within a years time easy, then you'll still have the boat!
:drink:

JaayTeee 02-24-2009 11:52 AM

Baja brought that boat and the 420 pace boat
to the Hawkeye poker run back in 97'

Had 600SC's in it then.

It's got to be one of the first 36 O/L's made

I remember them ( the Baja guys)
saying it would run 82.

It's had a hard life the last few years.

sonic69 02-24-2009 03:38 PM

WOTW2E, Brooks is a guy. We took his boat to Dave last saturday. He gets on me about his boat being 2 feet longer than mine, so I told him next one I bought woul be bigger than his.
