Brian 41 and I had a difference regarding this when I was looking for a cover for my 33. (still am).

Don't mind paying someone a reasonable profit, but IMO, some of these prices are an insult, I don't care what Baja sold them for retail.

If I had a boat worth covering and I trailered alot, I wouldnt mind forking over a few extra bucks. These covers fit like a glove, keep the boat clean, and minimize the sun fading. Its like an insurance policy.

Ok, enough of the sales pitch. Ive got a few of these I'll be listing for sale soon!

IDK this had been known about at TBM for months.

I agree on the prices. They are not doing anyone any favors. I guess that is the business now though. I have an old boat so I have to make stuff for it anyway...

I'd have to agree on the trailering covers. That 302 cover sold for 1000.00 through a dealer. Now you can't even get your hands on one. You'd have to buy 25 of the same cover to get the manufacturer to even make em for you(I called trying) I paid 450.00 for the one I got through Speed4u.

This BS that I only payed $150.00 for these covers in nothing but BS. I paid up to $600.00 for some of these covers and have receipts to prove it.

Now lets talk about Great Lakes skipper the new TBM hero. You guy's cry that I made a profit and yes I do that is why I am in business. I work off a standard markup as if I was buying items from any distributor. GLS bought the last of the items from Baja at from what I come up with is .0645 cents on the dollar yes that is less than 1 penny on the dollar. All he has to do is sell the bolster seats he got in the deal and his inventory is payed for and the rest is profit.

Big difference between $700 and $99. Back to the original question......would a 30 or 315 work on the 302?

The 30 would be closest to fitting correctly but would probably be slightly small depending on if your 302 has a windshield or a windscreen and a bolt on swim platform. The 315/335 (same boat) would be way to big to fit correctly, but if your just using the cover to cover the boat while it is stationary then it would work fine. It will probably hang down to the chines on both sides but it would give you nice coverage. I have a couple extra 30 shipping (white) covers that I could part with. If your interested PM me and we can discuss.
