Default Boss 275

Smitty, hopefully you'll see this, I'm running 900hp in my Boss 275 this year and want to know what length of tabs you had when you had this HP in your 272
Anyone else with similar set up, your input is appreciated

Thanks

I built replacement tabs for the bennets that are about 22 inches long but I made the ends angled so the whole tab isn't actually that long, not real happy with them but it helped. I plan to someday put giant k-planes on. Have you installed full hyd steering yet, your going to need it,Smitty

How are you applying tab on your speed runs? If my tabs even touch they slow the boat down.

My thoughts also ? The left tab is used sometimes to level the boat from torqueing sideways on a speed run.

Yes I installed full hydraulic steering to the helm last year when I installed the extension box and Whippled 496
I never achieved the results I was looking for with the 496 so its out now and a brand new 900 is going in, as well as longer 24" tabs
I keep the tabs in neutral position so as not to create any more drag, I'm hoping for more stability at high speeds.

I'm really happy with the Imco 3" raised X extension box, it makes the boat handle so much better, and has a whole "bigger attitude"

Thanks for the replies
