What is the Sacket bracket shop doing for you?
may also have him pop open my drives & make sure all my internals look good. i noticed last yr when leaving the boat in water over night, i would pump out a gallon or so of water in morn. told him money is no object & go ahead & use the CC on file (yours). :evilb: |

Sounds like the steering post thingys in the transom assys. I had the same problem. Took the transom assemblies apart and the seal around one was gone, and the other almost gone. |

Hmmm. I was hoping more. On another note, what do you guys think of the whipple kits for the 496. I thought that, and my labbed props may get lucky and hit 78-79?
BLUE MOTORS! |
Well, my junk is mostly put back together. Just need to tie up some new fuel pump wires & some old hoses back in place.
Oil needs changed still though & my interior looks like it spent the day at a Jiffy Lube. Where does all that black gunk come from anyway? It isn't oil or nothing like that. I'm guessing moist blower belt dust & all that shine stuff I seem to need to spray all over the motors. |

and it looks like I will be in the water very soon with the konrad and blower motor in it. so with the konrad being a shortie with box sey at 4'' below the keel, I think after the 25ol last year with the merc 600 played with height it was at 4''. if theres a hook I will take it out and if I have the money sharpen the chines and sq off the back edge of the boat, it should be at 105 to 110 I hope:evilb: or I will die trying.:evilb:
