Default 30 Outlaw Speeds?

Do you guys know of any boat tests that have GPS-certified speeds for a 30 Outlaw with either 525 EFI's or 600 SCI's? Thanks.

I would say with 525's 88-90 and with 600's 95
Alton-Blakley had or has one with 600's. I bet it's a hand full to drive.

Default Thanks

Wow, that's fast! Seems like the 525's then would be plenty, plus you still would have a very reliable boat. Thanks again.

83.6 GPS on my 30 with 525's /XR/ITS/SSM, running merc lab finished 28P maximus props. If you run the SSM lowers you need the 5 blades, if you stick with the std bottoms you can run bravo 1 props.

with the 525's at least it is a verry smooth ride verry comfy and relaxed

I'm surprised your not faster. My 30 with 496mags ran 74-75 with 28 labbed Bravo 1's. The 35 I have with 525's runs 83.

It takes a lot of HP to push boats fast as we all know..... I am also heavy, full galley, etc this boat has EVEY option avail..... and beer lol

I also believe that the SSM lowers are hurting the top speed they are designed for boats that go 100+. I though about taking them off and put on Std bottoms but then my X will be too low for the most part, It is set at only plus 1.5 because the SSM lowers are 2 inches shorter than std bottoms.....

If you are fully loaded that makes sense. My speed is empty. I do have a loaded cabin as well and a four bolster set up.

The 30 with 600's is on on little lake here locally now. He would be lucky to even find top end this lake is so small. He traded a clean 25 in on it. Pretty badass boat though.
