Default Whats This 240 Sport Worth?

What would be at good offer to throw on this?

Im quietly looking for a smaller single engine that I can trailer back and forth to the lake (1 hr each way) and something I can just pay cash for.

would be worth considering to me if it had a big block instead of a 350.

I would not offer more than 8k. It's only a 350 and I have seen 280's with 454's in the 15 range. Smurf just got a 272 with a 454 for somewhere around 13k.

Id buy it in a heartbeat for $8k. I like the 280s but I dont really want twins right now. Offering $8k would really be a kick in the nuts on his asking price!

Maybe a couple of you guys could offer him $6 or $7k to soften him up!

Make an offer! What's the worse they can do, say no?

In this markett you have the advantage, not many buyers right now. A bank would not loan much on that boat so they are gonna have to find someone with cash to buy it.
