Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure my stereo system out because the previous owner really rigged this up poorly. Does anyone know where the stock amp is that powers the stock speakers in the cabin? I have all aftermarket stuff in the cockpit, but all stock speakers in the cabin. I want to turn the gain down on the stock speakers because when I play it loud driving at high speeds the aftermarket speakers can handle it, but my stock speakers down below are about to blow up. Everything in the cockpit is powered by an aftermarket amp, but I have no idea where the stock amp is that is powering the speakers down below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely those speakers in the cabin are powered off of the headunit and is why they sound like crap. Your best bet is to put an amp on those or possibly run your amps off of the rear rca's and use the fader to cut off the front speakers.
