Looking to buy a 25 Outlaw 2005 or 2006 was there any changes between the two years? This will be my first Baja is there any issues with these two years? also what speeds should be expected with a 496 Ho? What should be the first performance mod on these boatts? Looking forward to becoming a Baja owner. Thanks in advance.

If there was any changes it would've been cosmetic other than graphics the only things that I'm aware of is the Anniversary Edition in 06. The HO should get you around 67 on "real" GPS #'s Great boat and if price is the same as well as options I'd go with the newer boat...JMO

What year did they make the drive height adjustment? The newer Baja's are about 6" deep vs 8". That accounts for about a 4 MPH difference in top end. That would save you from buying a -2 Shortie or -3 ext box to get the right setup.
