1995 Baja 236
|
Your boat looks great.
I wish Baja would have kept putting the port hole windows in on the performance models. The only thing my wife didn't link about our was the ladder she and few others said it was hard getting back in with wet hands because there hands would slip back down on the curve part of the ladder. |
Ladder
A little grip tape and a heat gun fixed that! Had the same complaints. lol

Nice boats, I had a 96 236 with 7.4 300hp bravo1, would run 53on gps with 21 mirage. It was all stock, bought it new and put about 300 hours on lake erie and another 300 on the gulf of mexico after moving to florida. Got rid of it in 2002.

Bravo 3's are much slower than Bravo 1. Do you have a GPS? There is no way 300HP will get you 61MPH with any outdrive. A 300HP engine with a Bravo 3 in a 236 Baja = 53 MPH. Also no way you are running 81 with only 575 HP.

Let's make that a fall project before you put the 275 in storage. I will order the port windows, and you bring the boat, and some beer to Bucyrus, and we can have them installed in 3-4 hours depending on how much beer you bring? XT:drink: |
XT sounds good but I'm not sure how good port holes would look on our boat with the paint scheme that's on our boat. The port holes would be in the orange and that might look odd. I think the paint schem on our boat has to be one of the better looking paint jobs out there but then again maybe it's just me since it's my boat so I'll just leave our boat as is but if I change my mind I know how to get a hold of.

That is true....I remember designing older paint jobs that did not interfear with the windows, then production complained that port windows were "too hard" to install, and sales deleted them even as an option, then the paint lines no longer mattered. At that time it seemed that production had more say than the customer, and I lost that battle.
