Just curious? Does anyone know who makes those battery boxes/steps? I think its a REALLY, REALLY good idea and was wondering if they where for sale? or are they a custom "1 off" thing? I have checked out most of the custom Marine places [Eddie, Dana, etc] and they sell just about every battery box imaginable, but, nothing with "steps"?
Thanks! Michael |
Great!, will contact Eddie Marine and see what they say, I got looking at them, and think I could probably whip something up, probably use round tubing and then have it coated, my boat is smaller, so, I would probably only use 2 batteries per side [1 step]
Will Contact Eddie Marine and see what they say, Thanks for the tip Dock! Michael |
For less than that you can get an 07ish 47 lightning trip 525 ,gen 88 mph
|
True, but, not a real fair comparison either, 525 vs 700's, Bravo's vs NXT's, there are a few difference's, plus the Fountain, although a real nice boat, would probably be the same as all the other ones out there, I guess you pay a premium price for being unique.
Personally, I would buy a used Outerlimits before I bought a newer Fountain, but, thats just personal preference Michael |

Do you and Dock really want to play this game with me? Do you have any idea what I have stored in "My Documents"?
Dock, remember the Crazy Fox? The trashcan? Jeff, remember the soapy bubbles? Remember Loto this summer? |

I just remembered when I climbed into Split Decision while in Miami. My brother thought security was going to have to forcibly remove me. I still have like 80 pictures of that boat...

Here's couple when it was @ Lake Cumberland. Thanks again Jeff for letting us hang all weekend on it. I will say the floor in the cuddy is not comfortable to sleep on even with good pillows.:coolcowboy:
