Default Top speed.

I just bought a 1989 Baja 250 sport. With a stock 330 hp chevy 454. Anyone know the top speed I should see with this engine?

I'll say 57-58 with a very good matched prop.

I'll say 55-56 with a box stock prop.

wiyh the right prop setup you will run about 53 to 55. I have the identical boat with 466 hp. the best i have ever seen is 62 gps. Great boats though!

Boat should run about 54 MPH GPS. Probably 58 on the "Dream O Meter". Don't get caught up on the speed thing, It will just screw you up. It will never end, you say you will be happly at 60 then 65 then 70 is great then you want 80.......

Be carfull the roller trailers are not good on the hull. You should get a new trailer or convert it to bunks.

I have a 89 23'5 Force and if I remember with the old stock motor(Magnum 365HP) it was around 60
These boats have a horrible design how hard it is to get to the front of the motor or waterpump with the back seat so close. If you want to know the easiest way to slide the back seat up shoot me a PM
