I hear that! If it has the same equipment (or lack there of) on it as it did 3 years ago I'd take a pass too.

it would be nice if they listed what was in the motors
but with after market heads my 509 made 637 with 4150 carb/ bg 850 647hp/ 660 with 1050dom and nickerson 1050 670hp. now with a intake change by DEAN GELLNER/CAM/ and another custom 1050 by CFM it will be over 700hp . thats my old back up motorwith a few hours only on it. we are going to dyno the 572 blower this jan since I am back on my feet but it will be going in a custom saber 28 instead of the 24ol which will be for sale as a parts boat or rigged.

I remember this boat from the Lake Cumberland poker run about three years ago. Nice guys and the boat looked great. They were still dialing it in and were no where close to the speeds posted in the ad.
Something keeps coming to mind about this setup. I could be wrong but it seemed they were trying to turn smaller props up over 6000 RPM or something like that.
I spoke to Blane Aarup formerly with Baja right after they delivered a 30 in Tennessee with 600's a few years back and he said is was SCARY! Sorry but 1400 HP in the Baja 30 is only for someone with a good head on their shoulders and the ability to control the the throttles. That boat will get you hurt at 90+ MPH.
But it looks great and as mentioned it is a good price.
