“Introducing the all new 2010 40EV from Evolution Performance Boats” A couple of guys from Baja Marine and Fountain Powerboats have teamed up and designed one of the fastest 40 foot boats on the water. With twin staggered 525 mercury’s you will be able to reach est. speeds of 100 mph. We teamed up with the man who first put steps on the Fountain hulls. Believe it or not Reggie was not the one who thought up putting steps on the bottom of his boats, but that’s another story. Anyway, with our new twin stepped Constant Lift hull design we will out run, out handle and out perform any of the competition out there. This boat will have the speeds of a fountain and the price of a Baja. We have started working on a website www.evolutionperformanceboats.com Come see us at the Miami Boat Show. We will be there all day Friday and Saturday. Don’t miss out!

Is that a 40 outlaw that Fountain was going to make? I read where they were working on one and that is was to have a step bottom but that was before the chapter 11. It looks good from the pictures best of luck to you.

Well first I guess we look forward to what you have to offer, you are correct Fountain was not first with Step hulls, they existed on WWII airplane floats, so I doubt whoever you have was the first to use them either, but I guess thats another story.
100+, 40 V Hull, 525's, would love to see it.

Look like a 40 OL that was redesigned to be bad ass, if so that would be a nice combination. If not I can see the Baja influence. I am interested how you are going to ge the weight to 9000lbs what materials ar eyou using??

On the website it says 199K for a 496 boat.
So does that mean over 300K for the 525 boat??
My 2 cents is to sell the 525 boat for around 200K and sell volume to make your profits.

I remember the name Faction and reading on web site about you guys then. Best of luck to you guys but sorry I can't help out because it will be a long time if ever before I can get a 40 footer. My next goal will be something between 29 - 33 foot but that's still a long ways away. Best of luck again.
