And the winner is Dave!!!
Yes, they are/were for cockpit floor drains until someone on the Baja production line failed to hook them up on a production boat, then it rained filling the motor compartment until the water level reached the open thru hulls.....The customers boat went down pretty quick after that! Guess what, no more cockpit drains on 36's after that.

There is 1 on each side in the same place. I see nothing left over from ac no holes for t-stat etc. there are also no holes or open areas that would have came from the bilge area. Boat seems original with no holes from old mounting hardware. I know I can just cap them but I would like to make shore there is nothing important that should have bin connected. They are in a very hard place to see. Small round plate about 8inches under the back seat. Funny thing is both have nothing to them. They are close to the floor drains but there is no connection at the floor.

If I remember correctly Baja used 3/4" or 1" bilge hose to connect them, but I would use a good reinforced rubber hose that would seal to the fittings better than bilge hose, if it was me? OR...you can just cap them and forget them?

Hey thanks for the help guys. I pulled the side vents and fund a round panel. Removed and it looks like they are for the floor drains just simply not hooked up and no trace of old hose. Just glad I caught it before there was a big problem. I am replacing the fittings with stainless and will cap them and fill them with 5200 to be safe.
I will put up a before and after post in about a month or so. I bought this boat of eBay for crack money with stock 502s. So far the drives and motors are tip top. Hull is super clean including the rub rails. I cleaned up the old green gauges and painted them blue with silver carbon fiber dash panels. The boat is getting a full rap and carbon vinyl, silver, blue, and orange. Just got my snap in carpet from Corinthian marine.
Btw- she ran 67gps with 200gallons fuel and 5 people last week. Not bad for a stock heavy big.
