I'm not sure what year they raised the x, my boat came stock with 25 pitch 3 blades. They blew out pretty easy for me. I got the 4 blades and was in love. They worked great. |
The raised X on 01s and newer did make them faster. As you can see, Eddie's with 375s was about the same speed as mine with stock 415s.
Buddy of mine has an 04 with stock HOs and runs easy mid 70s. |
im getting about 75 on my 06' with 28 labbed from bblades with h.o's. She is for sale if anyone is interested.

They didn't make 33 Outlaws until '98. They were 32s before that. Unless those 500s are built big, no way can you see 84 on that boat except on the speedo. |
With my 98 on with 502s and 25 pitch 3 blades, best I ever ran was 70mph with 6 people and full tank of gas. I was pretty happy with that!

With my 98 on with 502s and 25 pitch 3 blades, best I ever ran was 70mph with 6 people and full tank of gas Those are good numbers mike, especially with a load of bodies and 185gal. When I added Lightnings to my stock 502s I gained about 1.5 mph. Then I had Crockett go through them and ended up with ~600 ft. lb., but only ~520hp. So with this setup now, I'm running ~76-78 depending on conditions. |
