Default 226 Islander

I have a 1989 226 Islander. Does anybody remember any performance numbers on these old boats. I have been told that its a 240 sport hull with open bow. Was this a fast hull for the day? I sure would appreciate any comments and info on these old boats.

There are a few Baja factory guys on here that can answer your question with 100% accuracy.
I'm going to say, based off what I remember that the 226 Islander was a 226es hull with a taller deck.
The 226ES became the 240 Sport in 1991. The boat you are referring to was fast (high 60's low 70's) for it's day.
