With (1366) 25 Outlaws running around out there, vs. less than (200) 26 Outlaws you might let a little bashing on that comment.

Fact is that the 25ol, 272/275, and 26ol hull designs are so close that ANY one of them can be "faster" based on all the variables. The only real advantage the 26 has is that it has 2 1/2 sets (per side) of lifting strakes vs. 1 1/2 sets on the 25, & 272 hulls. The computer overlay attached shows how close the 26 is to the 272 design.

Note: Having done the 26ol hull design, I will accept the compliment!

Thanks,
XT

Well you are the man! I love my boat! I have ran with a few 25OL's and my 26 is more impressive. IMHO

Nice job on all the work. Cool OL as well...

I have similar plans someday.

What is up with the 26P prop did your OL come with that or did you change it?

I have a 23p on mine which I thought was stock?

gears you must have 1.50 he has the 1.65

Yea, the guy you are talking about it from Australia, his boat is smokin. I think you meant the other way on the gears. I believe 1.36 would be used when you run out of prop pitch.

guy was from germany, gears were fine at 1.50 I ran out of prop .so I needed a 28p but drive was stolen. now the saber is done go to y tube= Arties Saber and Arties Ace to see short vid of 1100 572, doing a run this weekend. 1.36 gears are good when a 34 or 36p prop is too small. ps this is a up date from 2010 to now.

great to see you tried the rev 4 , bret likes it for the stock bajas. once you get your 630hp you should see that imco shortie work. it did on mine, put I was at 74 to 76 then put it on. plus the carb upgrade and saw 83 plus, until the drive was stolen. its been a long road since 07 and after multi surgeries on me and building the 28 saber from scratch , I hope to see 65 to 70 mph at cruising speeds of 3500rpm and a top speed of 90 to 100. if my 3'' propshaft height is correct. a friend is at 3 3/8'' with 950hp doing 92 to 94. drive height is important with the props we have now . my 26 b1 sucked until it was labbed and worked well on my 5 1/2'' PS height on my baja 24 ol. your exhaust worries me being so short. to others a full through transom exhaust will pick you up more speed. by hardin marine or stainless marine through Bill at Diamond marine, best prices .
