Default 33-35 outlaw tow vehicle

Hey guys what are you towing 33-35 outlaws with? I have a 26 outlaw now and want to upgrade my F150 to an F250 diesel but I want to make sure my new truck will handle a larger boat in the future. Do I need a dually or will a 33-35 tow ok with just a 250 diesel??? Thanks

I tow my 33 easy with a 2003 2wd Dodge Cummins 2500. Pulls really nice. I have also used my girlfriends lifted 4wd Dodge Ram 2500 HEMI. Both trucks love pulling the boat. You will be fine with any 250 gas or diesel. Especially diesel if you go long distance!

For the weight you need at least a minimum of a 3/4 ton legally. You do not need a dually. I would suggest a diesel but thats my opinion. A 33 with 1/4 tank of fuel and a trailer will weight right at 11,000.

What year, make, model etc.... is your F150? I sent you a PM a few hours ago with the item number for a Dodge 3500 diesel I have listed on e-bay for my dad. He is looking for a model year 2000 + F150.

I tow our 33 with 2500HD Chevy with Duramax. I would not pull it with anything less, because it would be overloaded.

I weighed my 33 boat and eagle triaxle a couple of years ago. Ready to go with about 2/3 fuel (about 120 gal) weighed
11,900lb.
I pull mine all over the place with an F250 ex. cab 4X4 V10.
Had the puter programed for pulling, different Y-pipe and better intake filter are the only changes. Added air bags too.
3.73 axle is what I have. The only other change I might make would be to put in a 4.10 or 4.30 gears.

You can probably tow it w/just about anything but stopping will be a challenge. I would rec 3/4 of your choice. One can go on and on about the benifits of diff makes, gas vs. diesel. I use Dodge 2500 Cummins, tows great and gets 15mpg. Yes, x2 on the 3.73 or 4.10 gears.
